NKK NXT 2026
I’m very happy to announce that I have been selected as one of the eight members of this year’s edition of NKK NXT, the Nederlands Kamerkoor traineeship, which begins in January. During this ninth edition, we will work on ensemble singing at the highest level while continuing to develop as artists, guided and coached by NKK singers and other professionals from the field. Throughout the traineeship, we will create our own show and, in co-production with Studio Vacuüm, led by the promising young composer and director Mees Vervuurt, we will develop a performance to be presented in outdoor venues at O. Festival, Oranjewoud and Oerol.

In the vocal aspect, Marina Cabau's Fée stood out especially, being a very interesting soprano with great elegance in her singing and ease in the high register who was the most interesting of the evening and the most applauded by the audience after her aria of the first scene Je viens te rendre a l'esperance. During the show, the various experiences
of the main character will accumulate
marks on a canvas forming kind of a map,
full of experiences.
This map is the character, the good parts
and the bad ones, everything that she
experiences is a part of her.
